A Perspective

Reflective, post by Jeremiah Josey

All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces. People running in circles, it’s a very, very mad world. And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had. I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take. This is a world where no one knows me, where tears fill glasses and sorrow drowns in silence. It’s a place where children wait for the day they feel good, but the world keeps spinning—mad, empty, and unkind. And I just want to hide my head, to drown in the quiet, to find peace in the dream of ending it all. Because in this world, going nowhere feels like the only way to be seen.
