Jesus had a broader vision
Because of what the ego is, it believes it has to fight for attention because attention is what it believes it needs to survive. It believes that without attention it will die. This is partially true.
The soul simply does not care. It does not fight, it does not resist. It simply exists. It experiences. Everything is an experience for it – both “good” and “bad”.
A good friend of mine once asked me: “Why did Jesus just let himself be killed if he had all those godlike powers?” My answer was his soul was in control, not his ego, that’s why.
